Amazon US Open coverage suffers more issues

Amazon's live coverage of the US Open tennis has fallen over for the second time this week.

After quarter-final coverage was affected by issues with the streaming service earlier in the week, subscribers of Amazon Prime Video found they couldn't access semi-final coverage across a wide range of devices.

Others reported trouble with the sound, with viewers noticing the commentary feed changing mid-way through coverage.

Once again, monitoring website Downdetector recorded the UK was at the centre of the Amazon streaming problems.

A Tweet sent out by Amazon Prime Video UK to promote the night's semi-final coverage was met with a deluge of complaints from users:

Some sports fans have already raised concerns as to how Amazon will cope with users accessing its forthcoming Premier League coverage in the UK.

RXTV Log understands some users affected by outages earlier in the week have been offered credits by Amazon.
