Pluto TV arrives on Apple TV

Pluto TV, Viacom's free video streaming service, has announced its arrival on Apple TV, giving viewers access to over 50 channels.

The service is already available via Roku, Now TV boxes and the Fire TV stick to UK households.

The ad-funded service provides access to specially curated linear TV channels via a user's broadband internet connection. The UK offering includes a 24/7 Homes Under The Hammer channel, as well as indie and mainstream movies on Pluto TV Drama, Pluto TV Romance and Pluto TV Crime. Additionally, there are three channels from My5: My5 Crime, My5 Documentaries and My5 GPs: Behind Closed Doors.

Pluto TV has over 18 million users worldwide.

Speaking of the launch on Apple TV in the UK, as well as in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Olivier Jollet, Pluto TV's Managing Director for Europe said:
