Virgin Media makes changes to its channel numbering

New channel numbers for Comcast (Sky, NBCUniversal) and Discovery-owned channels effective Tuesday 1st October 2019.

It's the second major channel change on the cable network within a week, following the abolition of a number of standard definition channels last Thursday, in favour of all-HD distribution.

Among the affected channels is Quest, now in HD only and now moving to channel 169.

Meanwhile, Sky Crime HD - Sky's new real-life crime channel launches on 135 at 12 noon on 1st October 2019.

Other Sky and NBCUniversal channels see most HD channels listed first and +1 channels moved further down the list, away from the main channel. Challenge moves from 139 to 164.
